Training
Athens Gun Club advocates for responsible firearm ownership by encouraging every gun owner to pursue realistic, reputable, and skills-based training. We believe education extends beyond basic safety, encompassing concealed carry techniques, practical defensive applications, and life-saving skills such as trauma response and Stop the Bleed. While AGC does not directly host in-house training programs, we proudly partner with highly qualified, independent instructors who utilize our facility to provide specialized courses for all experience levels.
Clark’s formal education includes a Bachelor’s Degree from Gettysburg College and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Georgia. He has been a full-time law enforcement officer since 2006, when he graduated from the police academy at the top of his class in both academic achievement and marksmanship.
